FAQ
Regeneration Process
Every turbocharger we remanufacture goes through a multi-stage process. First, the unit is fully disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned. We inspect each component and replace all wear parts: bearings, seals, thrust assembly, and seal rings. The CHRA cartridge is then balanced on a VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) machine to ensure shaft balance within factory tolerances. After reassembly, every turbo is bench-tested before shipping.
A new turbo comes directly from the manufacturer in factory packaging with full warranty. A remanufactured turbo is rebuilt from a used core to OEM standards with new wear components and balanced rotating assembly. Remanufactured units typically cost 40-60% less than new and offer the same performance when properly rebuilt. Both types are covered by our warranty.
We source new turbos directly from authorized distributors of Garrett, BorgWarner, IHI, Holset, and Mitsubishi. Remanufactured units are rebuilt in our workshop using genuine OEM repair kits and original cores. Hybrid upgrade builds use Garrett GTX, BorgWarner EFR, or equivalent billet wheel upgrades, never aftermarket no-name internals.
Our remanufactured turbos meet or exceed OEM specifications. Every unit is balanced to under 0.5g shaft imbalance, leak-tested, and bench-tested for boost response. We use only genuine repair kits, bearings, seals, and journals matching original part numbers. Each unit is stamped with a unique serial number for warranty tracking.
Remanufactured turbos offer three main advantages: significant cost savings (typically 40-60% versus new), shorter lead times when in stock, and verified performance, every unit is tested before leaving our workshop. For older platforms where new OEM units are discontinued, remanufactured is often the only way to keep your vehicle running.
A hybrid turbo uses an OEM housing with upgraded internals – typically a larger billet compressor wheel, upgraded turbine wheel, and stronger bearing system. Hybrids deliver more airflow and higher horsepower than stock rebuilds while maintaining stock-like fitment. They require supporting modifications (tune, fueling, intercooler) to deliver advertised gains.
Orders
Add the turbo to your cart, select the correct variant (Power Range, Product Type, Stage if applicable), and proceed to checkout. You can pay by card, bank transfer, BLIK or PayPal. After ordering, you will receive a confirmation email with your invoice. For Just Upgrade orders, shipping instructions for your core will be included.
Three options: select vehicle brand, search by your existing turbo’s OEM or factory number directly in the search bar, or contact us with your car details. The OEM number stamped on your current turbo is the most reliable matching method – we recommend always cross-checking this before ordering.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Within EU, standard shipping starts from €25 for a single turbo. International shipping is available worldwide via DHL or UPS. Express shipping (1-2 business days within EU) is available on request. Free shipping applies to orders above €1000 within the EU.
In-stock units ship within 1-2 business days. EU delivery typically takes 2-5 business days from dispatch. For Just Upgrade orders, the workshop turnaround is 5-14 business days from receipt of your core. Custom hybrid builds may take 2-3 weeks. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your package leaves our warehouse.
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return any unused, uninstalled turbocharger in original packaging for a full refund. The unit must show no signs of installation, oil contact, or modification. Return shipping is at the buyer’s cost. Custom-built hybrid turbos and units modified to customer specification are non-returnable unless defective.
Orders can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch, usually within 24 hours of placing the order. Once shipped, the standard 14-day return policy applies. For Just Upgrade orders where work has already started in the workshop, cancellation may incur a labor fee. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
Cores & Old Parts
Yes. We accept used turbo cores in exchange for a refund or store credit, provided the core meets our acceptance criteria (housing intact, shaft present, no fire damage). Core values range from €50 to €400 depending on the unit. Send us a photo of your core and the OEM number for an exact valuation before shipping.
When you order a Just Upgrade or Complete Turbo with core charge, you have 30 days from delivery to send back your old turbo. We provide a prepaid shipping label within the EU upon request. Once your core arrives and passes inspection, the core charge is refunded to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Drain all oil from the unit before packaging. Wrap the turbo in plastic to prevent oil leakage. Use a sturdy cardboard box with at least 5 cm of foam, bubble wrap, or padding around all sides. Place the turbo in the center of the box, never against the walls. Include your order number on a printed sheet inside the package.
If your core fails inspection (cracked housing, damaged shaft, fire damage, or wrong unit), we will contact you with photos and a list of issues. You can choose to: forfeit the core charge, pay an additional fee for rebuildable cores with minor damage, or have the unit shipped back at your cost. We always inspect cores within 3 business days of arrival.
Yes, this is exactly what the Just Upgrade option is for. Order the upgrade variant, ship us your turbo, and we rebuild it with upgraded internals. You receive your own original housings back, now with hybrid internals. This is the most cost-effective upgrade path and preserves your original part numbers for warranty or matching-numbers builds.
Include in the package: your order number, the OEM/factory number stamped on your turbo, your contact phone number, and a brief note about the vehicle (make, model, engine code, modifications). If the turbo failed, describe the failure mode, this helps us identify any underlying issues that should be addressed during the rebuild.
Warranty
All new turbos come with a 24-month manufacturer warranty. Remanufactured turbos are covered by our 12-month warranty against material and workmanship defects. Hybrid upgrade builds carry a 6-month warranty when installed with our recommended supporting modifications. The warranty period starts from the invoice date.
Our warranty covers premature mechanical failure of the turbocharger caused by manufacturing or rebuild defects – bearing failure, shaft play exceeding factory tolerances, oil seal leakage, and balance issues. The warranty does not cover damage from contaminated oil, oil starvation, foreign object ingestion, over-revving, improper installation, or use without recommended supporting modifications.
If you suspect a warranty issue, contact us first with photos, a description of symptoms, and your order number. Do not disassemble the unit. We will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and instructions. After the unit arrives, we inspect it within 7 business days. Approved claims are repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.
The warranty is void if: the turbo was installed without changing the engine oil and filter, oil pressure was not verified before startup, the recommended supporting mods were not installed, the unit was tuned beyond rated boost limits, the wastegate or actuator was modified, or the turbo shows signs of foreign object damage. Always follow the installation guide provided.
We strongly recommend installation by a qualified mechanic familiar with turbocharger systems, but professional installation is not strictly required. However, if the failure is determined to be installation-related (incorrect oil line orientation, missing pre-oiling, contaminated oil supply), the warranty will not cover the damage regardless of who performed the work.
