Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

DSTurbo Dawid Sowa is committed to making https://performanceturbo.eu accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe that digital accessibility is both a legal duty and a matter of equal opportunity.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Where feasible, we also work toward elements of WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

This statement relates to the public-facing pages of https://performanceturbo.eu, excluding third-party content displayed on the Site over which we have no direct control (for example, embedded social-media feeds, courier tracking pages, and payment widgets operated by Stripe).

2. Conformance status

We consider our Site to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to close any remaining gaps, through:

  • periodic automated scans (for example, using the WAVE accessibility evaluation tool);
  • manual testing with keyboard-only navigation;
  • a phased programme to add descriptive alt text to all product images;
  • an ongoing review of colour contrast, focus indicators, and form-field labels;
  • usability testing with assistive technologies (screen readers) during major updates.

3. Accessibility features already in place

  • Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy;
  • Keyboard navigation for primary menus, search, and checkout;
  • Text resizable up to 200% without loss of functionality;
  • Text alternatives for non-decorative images where present;
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements;
  • Consistent navigation across pages;
  • Responsive layout that adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports;
  • Colour contrast on body text that meets or exceeds WCAG AA minimum (4.5:1) in most areas.

4. Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas where full conformance has not yet been achieved. We are actively working to resolve them:

  • Some product and blog images lack comprehensive alt text; this is being remediated as part of our 2026 content programme.
  • Certain PDF documents uploaded historically may not meet full accessibility tagging requirements; newer PDFs are tagged appropriately.
  • Videos we embed (for example, YouTube content) may not always include captions. We prefer captioned versions and we are removing uncaptioned videos from the Site.
  • Third-party widgets (payment, tracking, consent management) may present minor accessibility variations beyond our direct control; we select providers with strong accessibility track records.

Our response target: we will acknowledge feedback within 2 business days and aim to resolve or give a clear timeline within 10 business days.

This statement has been prepared having regard to:

  • EU: Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on web accessibility (public-sector focus) and the European Accessibility Act — Directive (EU) 2019/882 (private-sector e-commerce obligations from 28 June 2025);
  • United States: Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and guidance from the Department of Justice concerning web accessibility;
  • United Kingdom: the Equality Act 2010;
  • Canada: the Accessible Canada Act and provincial laws (e.g., AODA in Ontario);
  • Australia: the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

7. Dispute resolution

If you have contacted us about an accessibility barrier and you are not satisfied with our response:

  • EU / EEA: you may file a complaint with your national equivalent of the UOKiK (in Poland) or with the data-protection authority if personal-data issues are involved.
  • United States: you may contact the US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division (https://www.ada.gov).
  • UK: you may refer a complaint to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (https://www.equalityhumanrights.com).

8. Review cycle

We review and update this statement at least annually, or whenever a significant design or platform change is made.
